What happened
On the morning of Thursday 30 July 2026, day two of Malaysia Blockchain Week 2026, a group of crypto natives left the conference floor and toured the Bank Negara Malaysia Museum & Art Gallery together. We came back with , a lot of transcribed wall text, and an essay contest.

Contest rules
1Anyone may enter. You do not need to have attended the Bank Negara Malaysia Museum event in person, and you do not need to have attended Malaysia Blockchain Week 2026.
2Your entry must be submitted by 12:00 noon Kuala Lumpur time (MYT, UTC+8) on Friday, 7 August 2026. Late entries are not judged.
3Your essay must answer the prompt “How can blockchain technology be used to benefit Malaysia?”.
4Your essay must be between 750 and 800 words.
5Your essay must be published on a public web page (a blog, Medium, Substack, YouTube, X, or anything similar) under your real name, and must be publicly readable without a login or paywall.

◆12:30pm, event concludes; make your way back to the venue walking or otherwise.
